I actually got an interview with a tech company that posted a CD opening on LinkedIn. I almost didn’t even bother applying, as I’ve been double-dipping for months, but I wouldn’t mind a spot on a pre-ipo rocket after years of ad shit. I hear tech creative absolutely blows, though?

Interviewed on 17th October about a Business Development graduate role, after one week later the HR contacted me said they will call me about my application. However,no calls or any emails. After the final interview, I found that the role is closed and my application was under consideration for about one month and then changed to no longer under consideration few days ago. Any advice? Hey everyone, I’m looking for a referral for tech consulting, have 1 offer from another B4 and I’m in my last year of undergrad

Accepted an offer of employment with a mid-sized firm to begin in a couple of months. I’ve always wanted to shoot for big law but haven’t had the opportunity thus far. Overall, I accepted because I didn’t want to take the opportunity for granted in addition to the uncertainty with hiring due to covid. Would it be an issue to shoot for a big law opportunity in the interim? I know how this looks and sounds, so I definitely don’t want to set a precedent that I deal in bad faith.

Now that elective procedures are opening up again, has anyone had CoolSculpting? Does it work?

Had my performance review August 3rd. My boss could tell I was upset about a messily 5% raise after getting my degree etc. (recent post). He asked what range I’d like to be in, and I responded in a fashionable matter by comparing median salaries in the area. He said he would try and get me in that range. But has taken over a month to “think” about it. There shouldn’t really be much to think about? Either he wants me or he doesn’t, right? At this point I’m losing money and and motivation.

I'm in big law, but I've always been fascinated by mono e mono litigation. A friend from undergrad who ended up going to law school told me about a case he recently had in which he could get the plaintiff the backoff.

The matter involved a substantial amount of money that was lent for the purchase of a car outright. My friend's client was in his mid-twenties, and it was his uncle who lent him money. He leveraged his client potentially declaring bankruptcy to get a settlement.

So I finally dug deep and realized I have a gift for brand designing. I realized if I tweak my resume and portfolio I can get an entry level job in the the branding design industry. So please feel free to tell me what job titles I should apply to?!

I got an offer for Deloitte as a new consultant.
I applied for EY and PwC for business transformation and management consulting respectively.

My offer for Deloitte expires soon. I emailed both firms on yesterday politely asking if there's an update.
The thing is I'm more attracted to PwC/EY lines i applied to.

Has anyone heard back from these firms? I don't want to burn any bridges w/ Deloitte by accepting and then decline if a better off comes along.
