I'm working in CITi project since 17 months, premapped ro project so, not a single I was in bench til now. In this January they retained me with 70% hike :).
YOE - 5.6 years
Skills Set :- Java, Springboot, Microservices, SQL.

What all benefits I can get from LTi in next 6 months or so ?
Like Promotion to P3 and OnSite ?

I’m in the UK and applying for a job. I’ve seen on Glassdoor someone has posted a salary of £56k for my role and another for £70k in the job a level up to mine. When it comes to speaking to HR when they inevitably ask for my expectations what would be best to say? I’m thinking of £60k, but I haven’t had much experience with negotiation. Hey, I just received an offer for a Venture Capital Analyst position and the pay is slightly below the Avg Salary of $69,000. Should I counter this offer? Can you leverage Avg Salary and prior experience in my proposal?

Thinking of lateraling from a smaller office of a v20 firm to Silicon Valley for a more fun place to be (albeit more expensive). I’m in M&A/ECVC and figure Silicon Valley is the place to be for career prospects (whether partner or in-house). Anyone have any insight on the best biglaw firms in Silicon Valley for quality of life/WLB/perks? Don’t mind working hard (on track for 2500+) but want to find somewhere with the other benefits to justify the workload!

In the process of interviewing with a company for a Marketing role and so far I have met with NINE people, did a lengthy case study, went to the final round and then now they want me to take an aptitude and personality assessment. I work full time and I think this is so excessive. Not to mention it was not once mentioned to me when I asked the recruiter about the interview process. Do you think this is a red flag? Looking for strap options for a new Datejust 36 (steel/yellow gold, white dial, fluted bezel). I kind of like the idea of curved straps to close the gap to the case but not sure if this look will fit the classic look of a DJ. Also would prefer to use a strap where I can attach the Rolex clasp. What is the expected salary for a Test/defect/QA manager with 10 years experience? And I have seen that in the states the total compensation is based on the base salary, shares and a bonus. Is this the case for every company?

I want to get a dog. More specifically, a golden retriever. However, I have two major concerns: 1) this consulting lifestyle where I could potentially be away all the time and 2) I live in a pretty large 1/1 apartment (over 1000 sqft), but it's still an apartment.

Thoughts/advice?
