Well, I think you answered your own question. You’d die for a swim 😆
Pro
the risk in the water is almost zero, especially if the pool is properly chlorinated. it’s airborne. the risk is from the other patrons.
the risk is from other swimmers and to a much lesser extent contact surfaces [showers and stuff]. Outdoor is much much safer than indoors.
I’m a swimmer. Our pools reopen in two weeks. I’ll be there.
- I’ll be in the outdoor pools. I’ll mitigate risk - shower at home, go early and try and avoid the crowds etc. Feels less risky than lifting weights in a sweaty [indoor] weight room.

You didn’t give us the most important piece of information....
What city are you in?
Probably fine but avoid the locker room and showers. Bring your own towels. Make a makeshift changing stall by draping towel on 1 side of your car, parking in a view obstructed area (loadong docks, dumpsters, etc) and bringing easy-to-change clothes (maxi/caftan for ladies, basketball shorts for gents) Stick a trashbag on your seat and shower/full change at home.
Also go early in the AM when headcount is lowest

Would you jump into a bathtub with a stranger who might or might not have the Coronavirus? Do you think you might catch an infection and die?
If it was full of chlorine, sure
Chief
I highly doubt it would be transmissible in an outdoor chlorinated pool where you were able to maintain a reasonable distance.
I just started swimming again three weeks ago! I was hesitant at first but I go at 5am when the pool opens (freshly disinfected) and have my own lane
Yes I would.
