Exactly. I know there are some situations where it's best to keep looking, but in other situations...wouldn't it be better to actually hire someone than make the search for a new hire your full time job?
This is literally your job. To find the right candidate- the right match. Not the easy candidate or the easy match. Dig in and do the work to find the best candidate, and use a manager’s rejection to get valuable feedback to help your search for the next profiles. Your results will improve. Be objective and stop taking it personally.
