Hiring managers- do you get back to every candidate you've interviewed? In my experience as an interviewee, I tend to only hear back if I'm moving on/got the offer, regardless of the stage I'm in. I've been ghosted multiple times as a candidate in the final rounds so I know how it feels and try to make sure everyone we've interviewed knows where they stand in the application process.

I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?

Serious question from a happy software engineer, what do you all love about your work/actually enjoy doing during working hours?

I'll start; I'm privileged enough to have been given the opportunity to work and learn deeply on Linux and Kubernetes, and I get to tinker and play with them all day. Problem solving with them is a "fun" part of my job.

Of course most things aren't roses and sunshine, but I'd love to hear the positive parts of what you are doing, or what you like to do at work.

Anyone got any advice on recruiters? Do they actually add much value, or are you better off going direct to the big consultancies?
