recruiter, (1) SM, then the series of
(3) 1:1's w/(1) MD and (2) SM's.
The recruiter said he will now have
an interview in Jan. w/ the PPMD.
He interviewed for a M role in
consulting for customer marketing.

He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is

Technically, under the state of the law, it is possible for employers under a private company to deny you a job if you have filed for bankruptcy. For public employers, however, they won't legally be able to deny you employment or terminate you if you were to file for bankruptcy.
Yes. It's under the current state of bankcruptcy law. Private employers are allowed to deny you your application if you have filed or are currently in bankruptcy. Although some sources suggest that it's illegal.
There's a chance but you can still land a spot if you have a good resume. Let your experience cover that part. Let's hope for the best!

You can still apply to public companies despite having filed for bankruptcy, since you're protected by the law which states that they cannot deny or terminate you under this condition. Don't expect the same for private companies, though.
