Hope to get some advice from you all. I earn $135k (125k + $10k bonus (7%)). I received an offer for $105k base + $10k signing + 14% bonus. Although the base is $20k lower, if I do well I could get promoted to Director in 2 yrs where base is similar to what I earn today and bonus close to 40%. However that promo is not guaranteed. I believe I am a competitive candidate with great references. I want to leave consulting but don’t think it’s worth it for this amount. Appreciate your thoughts!

I did some small work for two partners and they loved it, so put me on new deals but the mid levels I am staffed with absolutely hate the work I do. One said the work I did was laughable.
