Hoping there are campus recruiters here who can talk to this. Is it just me, or are Gen Z tech candidates significantly better at negotiating their first salary than we were? I have about 3 entry-level persons on my team who are making what I made 3 years in, and it's pretty astounding.

Why CreditSafe has that much reimbursement component? Are bills required to get it?

How do you count years of experience? Lets say you were a web master for 5 years. Then you transitioned into a proper UX role and did that for 5 years. Is that 10 years of experience or 5?

Graduated in 2020, wanted to be a graphic designer, took a job at a startup in a social media role. The boss called me the "r" word for not handling entire 13-ish accounts roster well by myself. When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.

Does it look bad in my resume to resign after less than a year at a job? writing here the time I’ve spent at each company since graduating college:
- 2 years at company 1 (resigned to move back to home country)
- 2 years at company 2 (resigned and moved back to the US)
