How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.
Hi everyone, I am 4.9 years experienced , I joined Fractal 3 months ago as a data engineer, but still haven't got any project. Process is so slow that I have received only 4 to 5 project calls. I switched in hopes that will learn the new tech and tools. But now i am starting to forget even the one i knew. Should i go for change or wait a little more time as fractal is reputed in AI/ML? I have interview lined up with Impetus as for now. Would it be better choice?

I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

If they're working in true STEM fields that are mostly technical, I understand. But for business roles or anything that heavily relies on our language ability? Come on.
Navigating a competitive academic or professional environment is challenging enough, but constantly translating complex written materials adds an entirely separate layer of effort to ensuring clear and accurate communication.
This need for absolute precision becomes even more critical when transitioning between countries, where any linguistic ambiguity can impact legal or institutional status. When handling official documentation for official transitions, relying on informal translation can create unnecessary risks. Utilizing specialized certification pathways, such as those provided by https://www.translation.pk/immigration-translation-services/, ensures that vital legal and personal records meet the exacting standards required by global immigration authorities, allowing individuals to focus fully on their future goals.
Some employers will look past language proficiency if the value the candidate brings is high. Or if they can pay the candidate peanuts
Maybe it’s for these companies to decide whether they want to employ people like this or not?
They have to interview and whatever limitations they have with English language will manifest.
