Our largest communities are hosted on Facebook Groups so yes, a fair amount but not in a “I am a social media manager” kind of way.
I agree with this. I am actively monitoring and handling our social media accounts. But definitely not all day every day.
With my line of work, it's a huge part. I am even handling several social media accounts for our company and have no time checking mine.
As a community manager, social media plays a significant role in my workday. Community management often involves engaging with customers, users, or members of a community online, and social media is one of the primary channels for this engagement.
We're on social to connect with our audiences, we have groups on most social media, and we get more attendees for our community events and to grow our community through social. It plays a big role in our day to day.
Social media is a platform for engaging with our community. Can't do without it.
I'd say 90%. There won't be any working day without you dealing with social media. It's part of your everyday job, really.
It plays a significant part. I'm usually on social media almost all the time. That's what I am required to do.
