How can you ask recruiters for more info on compensation decisions like bonuses or promotions? I feel like there's no other way to find out if these things are communicated openly within the company, and whether there’s a structured process explaining how people can advance or move into more senior roles. Have you asked this question? How did it go?

I am currently working as a PayPal AWF/CW in contractor's payroll for the past 3 months. I heard many got converted from AWF to FTE. So what is the process for FTE conversion? found a role i’m really interested in and came across a post about it from hiring manager with a “reach out if you’re interested”. I’ve got a few connections to the company - is it better to try to go through someone I’m connected with in a different department and try to get referred, or just jump on the hiring manager’s post and reach out to them cold?

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
