Just do well and you will get all the brand deals and never have to practice law again.

I can only assume you hate your career

likefunny

I don’t know about other people but I would give you a high 5.

like

I mean, you could probably quit afterward so who cares

like

Why not? There was a biglaw associate on one of the shows. It’s interesting. Most of us are more suited for Love on the Spectrum

I’ve been wondering the same thing 😂🙃

Tell us when you’re casted!

There are plenty of examples already.

Depends what area you want to practice in after. Biglaw probably wouldn’t touch you. But you could end up at a boutique place or even better start your own firm. You would have the social media presence to market it well. Honestly though, why would you want to come back to law after going on there. Leverage the massive social media following you’ll get and become an influencer, travel blogger, etc.

like

Horrible for your career. But do tell us if you do this! I want to follow your story :)

Depends on how you act in there. It could be either very detrimental or a complete destroyer, but I would also give you a high 5 and support your new career as a “content creator”!

Don’t most people do that to promote their OF accounts post-show?

How seriously do you want to be taken professionally?

Anyone else recruited by a casting agent from them? I was awhile ago. Mid-30s male

Are you a guy or girl?

Maybe try a game show first 🤣?

Hi Fishes,

l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.

Any advice on what to do?

Recently stopped taking Concerta (after taking it for almost 2 years at varying doses) because it started having some negative effects on my heart rate. I'm getting started on Straterra and a little nervous because I've heard so many bad stories about it. I was super tired the first day I took it and so started taking it in the evenings. Anyone have any good Straterra experiences?

I am possibly going into a cyber security role where I would be leading internal and external content. Thing is, my career has mainly been in fashion which I am trying to move away from, to get into the tech space. This is a great opportunity that will definitely teach me a lot and help get me further into tech. Problem: I’m scared. I’m scared I won’t enjoy it, scared I’ll be bored!!!, scared I’ll fail, scared I’d be making a mistake. Any advice? Has anyone pivoted like this? I want to be open.

This is for a Visual designer's position
1. What was the breakpoint for design
2. Did you design the components and design system?
3. How was your handoff to developers (I've never one that)
4. Wht was the most challenging part of this project.
5. What is something you would re-design if you were to go back.

Transactional associate. Lateraled 6 months ago and one of the biggest pain points has been my new firm’s inclination to “hop on a call”, which of course requires every single stakeholder to join. The end result being every call has 25 people on it and nothing actually gets done because no one wants to ask a question that could come off as silly. It’s destroying my ability to get anything done during the day. It’s a complete performance and it drives me nuts.
