Seems like a good way to lose the remaining meaning in my life
Leave consulting.
Look into academia, or non-profits. And volunteer
Family, community, faith, career.
You don’t need to be 100% in all (you really can’t be), but if aren’t solid at least 2 or 3, you won’t feel lasting and justified satisfaction with your life.
Amen...
Did you read the book on this subject by Victor Frankl? Great place to start
Double down - recommend this I did the same
Here are a few thoughts:
Finding meaning in life is not actually about “finding,” it’s about “making.” You make meaning of your life.
Making meaning of your life is about alignment. Are you living in a way that is aligned with your values and purpose. If not, you’ll feel lack.
Continuing to make meaning in your life is allowing yourself to grow and realigning with your values and purpose as you continue to grow.
If you’re feeling a bit lost or experiencing an existential crisis right now, you’re not alone. I would recommend patience and kindness towards yourself. We are still in the middle of the pandemic and we have little visibility into what the future might look like.
Start to imagine different futures for yourself and note which ones you are excited about. Put an hour a week towards those. See if you continue to experience contentment and interest in them. If so, double down. If not, try something else until you find it.

Fix a certain amount of offline time where you indulge in something like taking a pet for walk, gardening, talking to old friends, Gymming. Something which doesn't involve internet and screen time.
Go to some local Charity or volunteering groups and do something selflessly.
The act of searching for it will cause it to elude you
OP, What do you care about?
Designing your life is a good book too
Develop a few worthwhile goals and hobbies and stick to them for dear life. Don’t worry about being happy and accept the harsh nature of existence.
Know that it won’t come entirely from work and you’ll be fine. If the check clears and I’m
not homicidal... the work part works itself out. I derive meaning from my personal life, more than work. Weird when you work with a lot of folks who’s lives are defined by their job/role/position.
1. Meaning is not the moving target, it’s the driven pursuit - expecting anything else will just make you depressed
2. Follow ancient wisdom, see which ancient stories resonate with you
3. Fix your biology: eat right, have sex with one person that you love, have friends, sleep
