Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Honestly so if there’s anything the company can work on, they’ll know moving forward
run in there wearing 2008-style shutter shades, shotgun a beer and scream out "peace bitches"
Tell them you have no issues with the company and you’re just leaving because an opportunity came to you that you couldn’t pass up. That way, when you hate your new job in 6 months or a year, you can come back for a higher salary and elevated title.
MP1 - You have a great ideology, however they never listen and/or learn.
OP - Best thing to do is be semi-honest about why you’re leaving but don’t burn any bridges. The advertising world is big but yet so small, everyone somehow knows each other and a bad reputation can stick with you even if you were just being honest about leadership or the place.
Be politically honest like ^ said, this industry may be big but it’s also very small. It’s not a bitchfest.
Don’t say anything negative that you have not discussed with your line manager - you can’t expect them to do anything with negative feedback if you never spoke about it until your last day. Don’t use it as a way to vent your frustrations but instead focus on other areas like your development, what you learned, what you wanted more of that the agency could not give you and why you’re leaving.
As fast and possible and say as little as you can
MP1: no
SVP1: why?
