How do you guys tell the difference between a legit recruiter reaching out to you or a scam trying to gather your information? Because these scams are pretty convincing.

I just do as much research as I can and try to be safe, but there's no way to reasonably know 100% of the time. A big thing for me is the emails. I always check where the emails are coming from and if they are coming from a Gmail, I pretty much immediately disregard. Or if they want to talk on telegram, lol.

These scams are getting out of control. I do a lot of research and I can also kind of tell by the way they word things when messaging back and forth. If it feels like its fishy, I just stop responding.

Please help me decide on the below offers:
I am very confused
- jpmc - 25lpa fixed (hyderabad location) (associate 601)
- bnp - 26.5 lpa fixed ( chennai location) (technical lead)
But both the cases , I need to relocate.
7 years java fullstack
- have service based companies offer in my current location (Wipro, mindtree, cognizant,)
- amdocs in process (current location)

Bnp seems more flexible with wfh option .10days offc and rest wfh.
Jpmc 3days /week work from office

Anyone been able to work from Dubai for a UK/US firm and benefit from no taxes? I know if you are a US citizen you pay taxes where you are globally, but if you are British, then you only pay income tax on UK income - so if you live more than half the year abroad you are classed as non-domicile resident, but wanted to hear if anyone’s done this or heard about it?

What’s the best way to deal with a partner that prefers working solo? For context, this writer I work with conceptualizes by himself, emails the Account team, gives deep input, and makes decisions for us without consulting with me (his “partner”) most of the time. While I appreciate his proactiveness, I feel excluded, limited, and without much room to co-lead the work with him. I don’t know how to bring this up without sounding like I’m b*tching about it.

What are firm’s known billable requirements? Is there a ramp up period?

I've done so well in this new role within the company that they are hiring another person to assist with what I do. I've voiced to my boss that I'd like to manage this department and they indicated that this is the thought for the future. Now they are asking me to train this person while I have my plate full. Is it wrong for me to expect either a promotion or to be paid to train this person?
