How do you protect time for real work when everything feels urgent? I came into work today with a clear plan and still ended up spending most of the day reacting instead of progressing. Messages, questions, small fires. By the time it was quiet, my energy was gone.

For product analytics alone which is better? Heap or Pendo? Has anyone had any experience using them?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

I’d to get a job in a small architecture firm or work for a developer to help build up my network. For the past 6 years I’ve taught high school architecture and engineering and done real estate on the side. I have an industrial design degree and tremendous construction and real estate sales knowledge. I also started architecture school but stupidly switched to industrial design.
