How do you stay motivated? I thought getting back to work after the holidays will make me look forward to work but nope. Do other account folks feel the same? Are you excited about what you do?

Nope. The job tasks themselves I actually find fun and interesting - but I have a really hard time managing the agency egos / misogyny / foggy role expectations that seems to haunt any accounts role.

I am motivated by the people I work with. Honestly…the work is boring due to the category some of my clients are in their lack of desire to pay for anything groundbreaking. I love my team though. I suggest focusing more on the people and if people are just kind of cold, be the person that kind of changes the culture a bit.

Also, try to work on new business from time to time. It’s a bitch…but something to switch it up.

What was it that kept you going before? Do you know why you do what you do? I think that understanding our motivation beyond a paycheck is crucial to staying motivated for the long term.

Build relationships! Use that expense account to really get to know your clientele.
They should be just as excited to hear from you as you are to work with them in 2023, and if they aren’t, have more fun with the role and get out there to build deeper relationships with them!
My customers are the ones who energize me.

Hi All
Does anyone have my information on the role Assistant Manager PPM.

Hello PwC AC Friends,

I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

What shall I do in this case? I am very much worried that if i don't have any project hours to show, will they fire me or what actions are supposed to be taken ? Thanks.

Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig? I left the last place because it was overr toxic and terrible W/L balance, for one that seemed to be more “fun” and more realistic hours, only to find that I’ve now been working 12 -14 hours a day and just drowning and feeling like I cannot catch up or catch my breath. Everyone is in the same boat here which is why I’m so overwhelmed so quickly with no support. Is this an immediate red flag?
