It really depends on the client, I had 30 hours week and also 50 hours week
In theory, you bill what you work. In practice, you bill 40 hours per week and work more or less as needed, typically more.

Off topic but I would love to hear about your experience at Spirit Airlines which from your post I assume was an internship or are you working there while finishing school? Doesn’t matter - I wanna know more about how Spirit keeps the lights on
That’s above my pay grade. I am a Analyst in the tax department. Finished my masters and have my bachelors.
I know you mentioned Deloitte but KPMG works in a similar nature. People typically work what they are *scheduled* to work regardless of whether or not they meet that. Some teams get real picky on hours and make sure you have work, plus more, to make sure you are billing that amount and usually micromanage. Then, you have other teams that don’t allow you to over-bill despite having worked over, for budget constraints or even a bankrupt client.
Would you like a referral? May you also please refer me to Spirit Airlines kind sir/madam? As someone aspiring towards their PPL, this would be an amazing opportunity for me.
