Agree with the above! I also found my European clients to be more understanding of delays, and overall they had a bit less manufactured urgency than their American counterparts. My French clients for instance would be off the entire month of August lol so the difference in work culture kind of helped me worry less about timezone differences etc. that said I would pad timelines slightly to ensure timely sign off on work due to the time difference, and keep an eye on their holiday calendar. It’s not something that was typically called out to us because it’s the norm there, but not all of our holidays overlap.
That's such a good reminder - to remember work culture is different over there and the holidays! Makes it tempting to want to only have European clients :) Thank you!

I work with people from all over the world and what helps me the most is planning in advance as much as possible.
In that way I can organize my days/weeks better (when do I start my days, when do I finish my days, planning for any before/after work activities...) and keep a healthy work-life balance.
