They are an employee-owned company and they want someone who actually wants to work there and help people.

I think they’re roasting the LinkedIn cringy people more than anything else.

like

That’s what I wasn’t sure on either. I thought that but saw some of their other posts and they do like to use the standard buzz words.

This is a straightforward post lol

like

This post is actually quite refreshing. I love the send-up of "hustle-bro-speak".

like

What does “send-up” mean? Is this some ghetto urban dictionary speak?

funnylike

I’m fine with it

like

Means they are hiring?

I met someone in the new city I moved to but they work for Fox News. They are a good person but I can’t get over their employer and they said I was immature for that. Are all companies under the wrath of capitalism so I should overlook that? Or has Fox brought too much hate to the gay community to even consider a relationship while he works for them. Thoughts?

Incoming (job title) vs ex (company name).
Which one is more cringe?

There really is such a direct correlation between cringey title and cringey posts.

Before LinkedIn...to me, the king of professional cringey was Shingy. Do you guys remember him? He was aol's overpaid "digital prophet" and got paid to visit companies at lunchtime and babble the same kind of nonsense we now call "LinkedIn cringe".

This one is going to make some of y’all mad, but it’s so annoyingly unnecessary. The most irritating part is “is it a shirt day or a skirt day”…. Like women don’t wear shirts with skirts and men don’t wear shirts with pants. Shirts and skirts are not mutually exclusive. I’ll just leave this here.

I woke up today tired.

My work cell was buzzing and then I remembered something.

I forgot to thank the bus driver that dropped me off a few days ago.

I got up and rushed downstairs to find the bus driver.

It was raining outside but I was already running barefoot to the bus stop.

I stood there soaked in my pajamas as the bus approached.

Then, the door opened. The driver got up and shook my hand.

I sat down and started my shift.

I’m the bus driver. Reminder to love and thank yourself.

Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying. Are these kind of jobs finally being exposed? Six figure employees getting paid to sit and bounce ideas off each other?
