When we had our Education Assistance Program, a clawback was in the agreement. Two year arrangement following completion of the education program. Each month, the clawback reduced by 1/24th.
That said…we only exercised the clawback option once. Most department leaders chose to forgive and part ways.
Ours used to have a stipulation to work for so many years after your degree is obtained with titrated pay back if you did not. Now they don't. We each qualify for a certain amount of money each semester..we can go tuition free to certain colleges or with a certain amount paid to others. No more waiting for reimbursements. They are counting your work while in school. The only time repayment occurs is if you leave your job mid semester and the facility paid.
My company does a few things. We get reimbursement up to $2500/yr, but the company also has certain programs at specific colleges that it covers 100%. It's been a great help.
