It depends on the context. If it’s an emergency, I’m available 24/7.
If it’s someone I like, I will meet as early as 7:30AM.
If it is just some rando then no earlier than 8:30AM so I can get settled in my office with a cup of coffee and a clear agenda for the day.
normally 8am. one off really anytime i’ve had 6am 9pm with diff time zones
I've taken meetings as early as 6:30am before. that being said...if you want an intelligent answer from me best plan for 10am or later.
General rule of thumb, and assuming I have a say in the matter, anywhere between 8am and 6pm. Now sometimes there are time zones we try to meet in the middle of and may figure something outside of that, but given the choices I like to stick within that time frame for my time zone.
The earliest would be 8 am. If checked with team members ahead of time, 7 am.
I get in the office at 7 am and don’t need to deal with teams in earlier timezones than me. So, I will accept meetings as early as 7:30 am if necessary.
I've taken recurring 7AMs (preferably allowed remote) and one-offs as early as 6am or late as 11pm (definitely remote).
I’m in a Global position. I have meetings every morning at 7 a.m. I also have a weekly standing meeting at 8 p.m. my time. I’ve done 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. one offs.
I can take a meeting anytime after I arrive. Most meetings are scheduled about 30 minutes after the staff has arrived to get people ready for the day. But if someone is waiting to talk to me before I arrive, there's probably a good reason. If it's a team of people, then it's definitely important.
7:30 for me.
I used to work remotely for a German company that used to have an 7am meeting, which was hard work some days. The 3:30-4pm finish was lovely though.
Anytime after 8am for regular calls but would accept 6.30am thru 9pm occasionally if working with the global team.
6:00 a.m. Same time for a one-off meeting.
My availability depends on core hours overlap. If I’m meeting with someone in a region where their day is ending as mine is beginning, I’m willing to start up to two hours before my normal workday or one hour before my usual wake-up time. For someone in the same or a similar time zone, I’d consider up to one hour before my normal start time.
I strive to be flexible while ensuring my schedule remains reasonable. I also consider the number of participants and whether the meeting is a one-off. For a one-time meeting, I’m more likely to accommodate the majority’s availability. However, for a recurring meeting, I prefer a time that is equally convenient for everyone, including myself.
