How far does a CPQ certification actually go? I was rejected from a CPQ role because i didn't have this certification. It's a $100 cert so i can't imagine it's the most rigorous certification out there. Does it really validate your Salesforce CPQ skills? I've been in my role as CPQ Admin for 2+ years now. I thought that would have been impressive enough.

My friend received two job offers for Account Executive roles: a Mid-Market role with Confluent and an Enterprise role with ThoughtSpot. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales. Thoughtspot is more of a startup culture where most of the sales comes from outbound and it’s a tougher sell.
