Are there any pros to applying through referral instead of directly through job postings. (Beside the referral money that the referee earns.) There are few companies that I want to apply but am not able to find referral in my connections. I would look for it here but I am just curious if it will gives me an edge ? Guys a big 4 company hr called and was saying in this time also they are hiring so they told to join at X package (which is lower than my current ctc ) , so i just said in hindi “chup” and cut the call. Then hr mailed me that due to my abusive behaviour they blacklist my name from their company. I am ok with it as long as they don’t tell other companies though.
