There were certain things he took care of completely. He had a much busier work schedule than me at the time, so I coordinated most of everything else. My parents also financially contributed, so I coordinated a lot with my mom. Had my husband not been so busy with work, it would have been 50/50.
My husband was fairly involved. I did a bit more work because I was slower at work but we also talked when we got engaged about how if we were having a wedding, we were both expected to equally be involved.
My fiance has been very involved. We both work full time. I’ve really gotten overwhelmed with all of it and he’s taken notice and has really been such a big help with handling DJ, catering, looking up design/decor ideas.

Did take on some time intensive items like selecting the band, compiling song lists, and help with gift registry... which was .much more time consuming than one would think. However as withevery large project. someone has to be in charge, have the master do list, and assign tasks.
