How is the life and work culture in the exl?
Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

Depends on what clients you get, there is a either (1) internal audit or (2) assurance work. I can only speak for (2), but work mainly on SOC1/SOC2/SOX audits and MAR audits. Heavy on internal controls for sure - considering that’s in the name of the practice lol. What are you thinking of other than internal controls? Work is heavy, typical 45 hour weeks in non busy season, and busy season can get up to 60-70 hours depending on number of clients. WLB isn’t the best considering the number of hours you work, but again depending on your office you can get really good teams that incorporate well being into projects - letting people take last minute PTO without having to justify themselves, happy hours, team meals, team hangouts, WFH whenever necessary (in non COVID time), flexible work hours (you can start at 4am and end early afternoon if you wish or just take off in the middle of the day to get groceries/make appointments). Tons of variety on clients/projects, and lots of great exposure to C suite.
Again I need to preface by saying that not everyone in AIC has the same experience I had - my journey in AIC had been great, good mentors, great teams - only complain would be workload, which is a typical Big 4 complaint anyway.
