How is having 2 YoE in both audit and tax (one year in each) seen when you’re ready to exit to industry? considering you’re A1 in both. I want to have practical experience in both but I also realized I just don’t like audit so i’m currently looking to switch to tax and I understand I will have to start as A1 again.

Does promotion happen while you're on bench in IT companies?
Hi All, I've completed two years in my current company and I was recently released from my project and my manager is trying to assign me to a new project hopefully.
My question is, will my promotion happen as I was eligible for the same and I was released to the bench as I'll be moving on to another project soon. Can someone enlighten me on this?
