IBM is the “M” and “B” of MBB. The last “B” is Beloitte
Rising Star
It’s probably below B4/accenture
They seem to struggle on both the strategy and the delivery. I've followed on the work now twice, and there were strategy components that were wrong and failed to understand some implementation aspects were wrong resulting in a bad data architecture at implementation, which made both the strategy and implementation parts be thrown out. So, I can legitimately say thank you for selling in reset and reimplement work for a different t2 firm. But, if you have or are a good architect, you can probably turn their business around...
Lmfaooo dang.
It was originally started by bringing in loads of ex mbb people to drive work. Things have not gone so well for them and they’re struggling to find their grounding. Would not say its considered T2 no, but there is definitely interesting work there.
It’s T3
Never had them come up as competition for ACN Strat work, while often competing against MBB/OW/D
Even calling it T3 (same as Accenture/B4) would be generous
Rising Star
WITCH but with a former U.S. name.
I worked at IBM for a decade, worked all over the world at our biggest accounts. Never did I once encounter any sort of business transformation or enterprise strategy teams I’m afraid. Now I’m feeling a bit baffled.
