My company cut staff to 4 days/wk to save funds. I was getting requests from coworkers for docs needed urgently on our day off (fridays). I would oblige them. But then, I learned that those same coworkers had been put back to 5 days because they were deemed “essential“. I felt foolish and decided to stop working on fridays. From 15th November will TCS employee need to report to "ODC Location"? If their "base location" and "ODC Location" is different; will they get deputation benefits i.e. "air ticket, tata quarter, deputation allowance"? Or will they forcefully transfer and change the base location without employee's consent?

A friend of mine works with TCS as an Analyst, his base location is Bengaluru but he is been working from his hometown in Lucknow since the first COVID lockdown. Now he is being asked by his team to work from Ahmedabad, where his direct supervisor (manager) is working from. In this case, according to TCS talent policies, what is the procedure and the benefits that he can avail, as part of project initiated relocation? Also, how long it takes to get base location changed through HR in TCS?

I am the only developer in my team and my manager has assigned me a project in which I need to create a tool from scratch although that is currently running in production build by third party and we don't have access to that code.

Then I had interview with mindtree and got selected. They haven't released my offer letter at.
So I asked Capgemini to revise my CTC based on Mindtree offer even I didn't received offer letter from Mindtree and they told they need offer letter inorder to revise.
So guys what can I do in this situation. My last working day also few days away.
What if Capgemini won't revise my CTC.
And I am thinking CG offering me less.

Today a pwc India guy offered me 10.2 lpa. My current is 10 and i have an offer of 15lpa. His logic was we are big4. We cannot compare the offers from service based companies. I don't know how such attitude will survive in such a competitive market. He tells me that pwc has a great wlb😂
