How long before it’s socially/professionally acceptable to job hop if you’re doing it to change practice areas? I left my prior firm & practice area last year for a 20+ percent raise & a better trial experience. Unfortunately, I find my new position to be both overwhelmingly busy and mind numbingly boring. I don’t want to get a reputation as a job hopper - but I’m worried I’m going to get stuck in this practice area if I stay too long.

I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview. When she attended she said that there was no point of responding my email as we are meeting anyway. Later on I had 2nd interview with the hiring manager. After 45 minutes she said they will let me know...
