Hello all. I am looking for any insights into Sunovion Pharmaceuticals. I have been approached for an interview and I am trying to do my homework on the company, culture and benefits. I currently work at a large Pharmaceutical company. The open role is in the same area of finance that i currently work in but would be a bump to a Director level position. Any kind of feedback would be greatly appreciated.

What a fair TC range for a position like this? I’m the head of an e-commerce store at a CPG start up with millions in sales. I run inventory management, subscriptions, CRO, analytics, and all front end development etc. I think i’m asking for too little for my skill set
Anyone here currently in or looking to make the transition to a client service associate or paraplanner role? Hiring in NYC- please respond to this post
Let’s talk about Panel Interviews.
I had a great first part of one today, for a junior SE role that seems really rewarding in a BIG company that could skyrocket my career. But I needed to get a half day PTO for it tomorrow, and I’m not sure if I’m doing well but somehow made it to this point despite being way out of my comfort level with the languages needed for mobile coding.
Does a panel interview mean they are nearly decided, what has everyone’s experience been here for technical roles?
MBB Interviewers: I know the bar & I’m not there. Would it be terrible to tell those who’ve offered to refer me (lateral hire) that I’d want to wait until 2021 to interview? Friends say I’m crazy & that they don’t see any lateral hiring in Jan-March, but my understanding was most MBBs hire year round (pre-MBA). The thought of waiting another year to re-apply is scary. Please help!

Just got hired on for an OCM role and am looking for ways to specifically boost my knowledge to get ramped up. Does anyone have any tips/resources on doing this? Currently we do not have an OCM capability/many resources internally.
Need advice - you moved to a new city for a role, things are going great until a reorg happens. Your VP leaves, you’re placed onto a new team where from the beginning your manager doesn’t want to onboard or invest in you. You’re PIPd and terminated. Few months later, you land another role and covid layoffs happen a year later and you’re let go. You have to step into the role of a caregiver and take additional time away from work. With all this in mind, how would you reenter the work force?
I wish to join one of the top consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, B&C etc. I am currently working as a Business Analyst with a work ex of 3 years.
I have started exploring on my own and one thing that came out different were Case Studies interviews and I have started reading and preparing for them.
I will do MBA also post working in one of these firms.
I was hoping if anyone can help me to prepare better or suggest a plan to land a job for a role that aligns with my ambitions.
Can someone kindly connect me with Investment Banking HR/Recruiter/anyone willing to help? My friend interviewed for Goldman Sachs NY. Cleared the HireVue but didn’t get any communication further. It’s been 4 weeks now. Although the referral came from a VO but the division is different. My friend is looking for Investment Banking division. Need to get in touch with someone from investment banking to push the resume. The rolling process is hurting the chances.Thank you Goldman Sachs
I currently work in accounting and I really want make the shift into Payment Analyst, background is Third party audit, AP and AR.
My current position is contract, what is the best way to pivot and what roles should I be looking at?
I’m an SE who works 2 AE’s, and from looking at the market am on the bottom end of the pay scale. The company I work for has many different products/services (80+), so they wanted SEs to take on a local “SME” role in a specific area, to support other members of the team.
This role has ramped up quite a bit recently, and people have been coming to me for help with their deals (overviews, demos, POCs) which is increasing my workload.
How would you approach asking for more money here? Thanks!

When creating OKRs and looking for metrics to shoot for, how do you calculate what said key results should be? Are they idealistic in nature, or should they be rooted in the work that you’re going to embark on? Then based on that work, a scientific deducing of how that work will effect the key result in the direction you’re trying to go? Essentially, I’m trying to see how calculated one must be.
Thoughts on Stanford online MBA - lean? I’ve a scholarship from Wharton for the MDP but some have said lean is better. TIA!

1) If you’re interviewing with several shops, what’s your process in keeping all agency and non- agency recruiters up to speed?
Been working on remote projects for months now and it’s really affecting my mental state. I live in nyc and it’s demotivating to wfh everyday and it’s not as enjoyable going to an office with no team
I've been in the Proprietary Education/Financial Aid/ Recruiting Industry for over 25 years. Just recently lost my job because the school closed down. I would like to shift gears and do recruiting somewhere other than a college. Does anyone have any leads or work at a company that needs a Recruiter? It really seems like you can't get in anywhere unless you know someone.

Told my line manager recently I was burning out (typically on calls until 11:30pm 3+ nights a week). Response was”I’m busy too”. Any good response to this? Feel like I’m generally pretty resilient but wondering if this is time to work on my resume.
Do any of you recommend switching to an account management role in the programmatic field from the implementation side of programmatic? I think I have the personality for an account management role, but I also do not want to loose any hard skills.
I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. I’m confused because we’re doing the work either way and “spending” in labor/resources.

HiI’m interviewing next week for a Sr Account Manager role @ a digital mkt agency.
The interviewer asked me to send in my salary expectation before we talk. This is a little bit challenging to me. Talk numbers.
The position ask for at least 4 years experience. I have 6.
I want to ask for a fair amount because I do think I can bring much value to the company.
Also don’t want to compromise just because I’m out of a job at the moment. Do you guys have a suggestion ? TIA!!!
Kinda stressed about the impending recession. Those who were around in 2008, how did the industry do? I was laid off at the beginning of Covid (worked on a travel brand) and I’m finally feeling like myself again.
Any personal experiences on the move up to Account Director? My current role doesnt look like there's room to progress anytime soon but I've been at this level a few years now so I'll likely try to get hired into it elsewhere soon.
Any advice or things I should be aware of? Or are there any training sessions I should look at before taking the leap?
How do I tell a recruiter I’m declining to move forward with their interview process? (I got an offer at my dream job after being laid off!!)

I just got a promotion to a Senior Account Executive after being at my agency for only 3 months. I’m so excited but I was a little let down on the raise I’ll be getting. I would love about $3k more than they’re giving me. Should I just be grateful I got a promotion and raise so quickly? Or should I ask more money? Or should I wait for my 6 month review and see if they can give me the additional $3k I’d like?
