Either way, you should still keep looking. Never put all your eggs on one basket.
If you’re waiting a month, you should be interviewing other places. And you may want to be upfront that you’re interviewing elsewhere and they will then expedite the process if they want you
It’s generally pretty quick, at least for more junior positions. I haven’t had to wait more than 2 weeks so far
Depends on the level and their need, but absolutely.
It took 3 mths for me.
Depends on the agency, too. FCB’s recruiting is painfully slow, it can take months to work your way through it.
Can totally vary from 2 weeks to 3 months or more, especially for senior roles. Depends on how urgent the hire is, if people are traveling or on vacations and hard to schedule, etc. It can be revealing of the agency or company in certain ways, but also don’t take it personally! Some shops have a lot of red tape to get through than others.
Thanks everyone! Im interviewing for a jr level position at a very small agency, so I’ve been feeling more and more uncomfortable as they dragged on. Making me question their culture etc. maybe I’m thinking too much!
