How long is the interview process at Deloitte? specifically Doblin

Funny story, recently did an interview for a firm mostly out of curiosity about other opportunities outside my current firm. I’m in a good place and not particularly motivated to leave, but you can’t know what’s your there if you don’t keep an eye. Was transparent about that with the recruiter and the firm going in. Get to the end of the interview, and interviewer who happens to be the offices managing partner offers to schedule a round of follow up interviews. (Rest of story in comments).

Any advice on how to land a role at Meta or Tik Tok? I keep applying but I feel like my application isn’t even being looked at. Also messaged so many recruiters on LinkedIn… but no answers. Thoughts/advice welcomed.

Why the heck do Recruiters and Hiring managers do such a poor job keeping applicants informed to the status. I had my time wasted with an opportunity for a fortune 100 position for 3 1/2 months. Phone Screens, Zoom Interview with hiring manager, Face to face with hiring manager. (Then asked for professional references) , impromptu Zoom meet with other leader who was completely disengaged. Then boom... six weeks of silence vague texts from hiring manager they were still going thru the process..

Question on changing roles: a friend of mine did not pass the final round at BCG for an associate position, due to not having as much relevant experience as the other candidates. However, they are interested in him and will likely offer him a research position. Does anybody know whether it is likely that you can switch from a research role to a consulting role?
