How long would it take for MBBers (McK and BCG, since that's who I've passed a couple rounds with) to hit 250k starting from post MBA level?

Got an offer from FAANG with that TC and trying to compare the paths. I applied for data science tracks (specialist at McK, Gamma at BCG) at both. Generalists can give input cause the stuff I applied for has the same progression and comp allegedly.

What is the eligibility or time period needed to move from 6B to 7A in IBM? I have 4.7 years of experience and joined IBM recently in JL 6B.

Interviewing with a small (50 people) boutique firm in a management position. They are in an industry I have 10 years of experience plus I have 5 years management consulting experience in B4 firm. Assuming the pay and potential bonus are reasonable what kind of challenges would I be in for? I already understand this would be a risk to join and help them grow but if I were successful I think it could be very rewarding.

I have been a software developer (professionally) for about 7 years now, but I’ve decided to move out from that job and do something else (still in tech).

Tbh, I am scared. But I have set myself one year to learn something new.
