I try to get between 7-8, and it seems like it's enough for me. I wake up at 6am everyday though regardless of when I went to sleep, so I have to be pretty diligent at going to bed early. As a new mom of course you're drained! I hope you're able to get some more sleep soon! 5-6 is not enough

Thanks! 💗
5 or 6 during the school year, 6-8 during the summer. I have to wake up crazy early to get my kids to school on time, but their summer camps are much more lax so we can all sleep in a bit longer. It's such a nice change of pace. I'm still not super well rested, but the extra hour or two makes a big difference in how I feel throughout the day.

Oh boy. It is so hard to function on 5-6! Glad you get a break in the summer!
Congrats on the baby!!
How old exactly? My little one just turned one, I’d say by six months I was back to getting a solid 8 hours of sleep..

Please share your secrets for getting a baby to sleep!
The plan is always to get eight hours of sleep, but most of the time it works out to six or seven. What I'll do sometimes is take a short nap, a half hour or so, in the early evening. When I wake up I feel a lot better. It's kind of surprising how refreshing even a short nap can be.

Maybe I will try naps!
I had three kids and I went through this every single time, moms are amazing and I don't know how we do it. Now that my kids are a bit older, I average about seven hours of sleep at night but I wish it was significantly more. I probably need around 10, but I don't see that happening for the next 12 years or so.

Yeah I am looking at 18 years of sleep deprivation, I figure.
