How much better are the exit opportunities for a big 4 TAS practices from MM firms? I’m not sure if I should wait around to see if another big 4 or A&M/Duff will respond to my applications as I am wrapping up my interview process with a couple MM firms (bdo, gt, rsm, cohn, etc.). I am currently an audit S2 at a big 4.

I think KPMG has a pretty good training and onboarding process for new FDD hires (Lakehouse bootcamp, reading and training materials for review, and the shadow program). How’s onboarding and training looking like for PwC / EY / Deloitte?

Currently a staff in audit - 6 months in. Glad to be learning a lot, and have had a generally positive experience at the firm other than a few interactions, some tough busy season nights. Really been intrigued by TAS/M&A, however, and had a few convos with a senior in TAS i know at the firm. It’s closer to what I studied, but don’t know how to make the jump as it seems an internal transfer could take 6+months/senior rank and a lot of convincing. Is it better to jump firms/has anyone done this?

So do higher ups (managers/directors/etc) in FFD talk to each other about the progress of seniors and associates in a similar manner to how the staff are ranked during audit roundtables??
