How much do you save?
First year. Other than maxing out my 401K, I haven’t been saving up much but rather have been spending money splurging, eating out and rent. So basically, my take home salary has all been used paying out credit card balance. I want to get out of this cycle and start saving up (obviously stopping wasting money on stupid shit). My rent is around 5000/month, and I plan on moving out after two years so I don’t have much room. How much should we be ideally saving every month?

Hi all, I am a 4th year chemistry PHD student (International/Indian) and will surely finish in about a year, around Aug23. It can work for pharma (Merck, Pfizer, GSK etc.) as a scientist. To the lender counsel that forgot to mention they needed original signature pages for a deal that closed early this year and decided to chase and harass me a day before thanksgiving and a day after thanksgiving multiple times. F*ck you. I don’t know what is driving your lack of courtesy but I have represented the same bank before and know their usual original signature requirement.
