How much does saying "I don’t know" to a few questions matter in an interview, in your opinion? Does it show intellectual honesty, or is it always a no-no even if you genuinely don’t know the answer? Of course, I’m assuming that I would still explain what I would do to solve the problem (for example, checking the documentation or running a quick test)

Saying you don’t know is fine when you show how you would figure it out. I see it as honesty plus problem solving, not a deal breaker.

I agree but it depends on how it’s received

It depends on the interviewer and how they interpret this. Like lots of interviewing beauty is in the eye of the beholder or visa versa

I think showing how you would figure it out is good. And it depends on how technical they need someone to be. Be honest because it could be a real job requirement that they might not want to teach

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.
