Currently an M&A Tax A2 (HCOL) at KPMG, just received offer from Deloitte (same group, same city) as S1 with 6.5% raise. Raise is obviously too low; not sure what is typical salary increase from A2>S1. What would be a good counter? Should it be equal to typical raise or even higher?

The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. I am EOR on a number of structures in development, I manage EITs and Drafters (within projects; I'm not a supervisor), and am doing a lot in general. I'm at 78k currently, which is apparently still in the upper range of EIT salaries per a job posting in CO. I'm thinking of 15% (5% merit, 10% PE). Any ideas?

Anyone switched from Becker to Wiley and regretted it? I did and though I appreciate the bite-sized lectures, I don't enjoy it as much as Becker. l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.

Any advice on what to do?
