~3-5% non-promo year
Yep base is standardized, but there’s a performance bonus range. Spread in bonus range increases as you move up.
Not a simple answer since we get promotions approximately every 2 years, which come with a big increase in base (more significant at junior levels) and a big increase in performance bonus range (more significant at senior levels). In total probably about 30%+ increase in a promotion year, and around ~5% in a non-promo year.
Caveats for non-promo years: If you improve in performance, which will naturally happen as you learn the job, then you are more likely to earn a higher bonus rate which adds to the ~5%. We have also had two big comp adjustments in the last two years, so we got a ~15-20% increase across the board, which adds on top of the base 5% non-promo raise.
Bonus % increases along with the base bump, so total comp goes up by more than 3.5%, but it depends on your level how much
At some systems and some seniority levels it is 0%
