How much money, or actually, net worth, do you think you need to be wealthy? My net worth is almost $3.3 mil. Which should make me wealthy; however, that's not really a lot of money these days.

3.3M allows you to never work again and live well on dividends alone in the vast majority of the country. That is wealthy.

If you need to ask this question, then you are not . Wealthy don’t need validation from others. They know they are, but not in the same league as ultra rich.

Officially you are upper middle class, if you are adding your house, retirement accounts in your calculations

Everyone’s psychology is difference. I don’t think k you can safely make that assertion.

Define wealthy first

Liquid assets is a better measure

3.3 m is not bad at full retirement ago with social security, living like a millionaire for many people means having the income to lead a full but not extravagant life without working. If you want to live like someone making $1m a year pre tax then yeah, you need to save more. But in 10 years you can double your capital and put a little more in along the way.

Hi, I’m looking to switch into marketing (entry level), as consulting is not aligned with my skill set/passions. Does anyone know of any ad agencies in LA that have good work-life balance, good pay, PTO, great culture, promotions, training? Your help means more than you know!!! Looking to do informational interviews and try to network my way in, as I feel the barrier to entry was much harder than anticipated. Anything helps, thank you so much!

Heyy people,

Couldn't attend this interview at PwC due to last minute technical difficulties. I requested HR to reschedule it. She said it's not possible this week and she'll try her best for the next week. I am really tensed, I don't want to throw away this opportunity. I was really looking forward for the interview. Would they really reschedule my interview?

Hi Sharks 🦈,

Need some suggestions: My current company is on a layoff spree and 2 rounds are already done and I can foresee another round coming very soon.

While I am trying to switch to other companies, I’m not able to reveal the real reason from my side for the job change, as if I say, it’s because of layoff fears than it’ll reduce my negotiation power.

What other reasons can I give as I’ve just completed 9 months here and it’s too soon for any other company to take me in.
