Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express

Strong benefits usually worth around $30k. If you’re young with no dependents, it may be fine. Career advancement opportunities is probably the most important factor for you to consider
Strong benefits attract and retain top talent and are very important for quality of life.
The 401k match is free money to you, whether that is income now or later (with assumed growth over time). To me that is very important. When I was single and younger I rarely went to the doctor because I was overall healthy. Eventually as I’ve gotten older I’m seeing the benefits of a good health plan, it causes less stress in your life which can actually benefit your health! As long as you’re meeting your financial goals with the base you are currently getting, I would say benefits are important to your long-term success. You also have to weigh how long you plan to stay where you currently are, how long would you stay at the new company, and realize the grass isn’t always greener at a different place. You generally trade one set of problems or pain points for another set. Best of luck to you!

I would prefer the strong benefits
Is there anything else to consider with the pay package of the boutique shop? Equity? Any indication of what the bonus would be? What’s the bonus at your current job?
