Years ago when I was an intern, a former partner did this after they were fired for not doing anything at work. I informed the agency that their site had not only my solo work but other agency projects as well, and the agency sent them a cease and desist.
Tell the agency and HR. They will contact the person. In my experience, the person just put a password on the site. To this day, I don’t trust people with a site PW.
In healthcare (and sometimes other situations) showing the work you did do will get a cease and desist, also.
How is that different from a CCO taking credit for other’s work? 😂
What AD1 said. ☝️
It’s a bad look by them, but if I’m being honest I’ve seen all sorts of people do that at basically every level and have never seen it stand in their way of anything.
I know a CW who does this and even has the audacity to list themselves as an Art Director on their projects as well. Insane behavior. But they have a pretty bad industry rep in general… but yes the lies in their book keep getting them work. It’s not cool.

How do you know this?
You rest easy knowing that the chickens always come home to roost. They probably can’t last more than a year wherever they go cuz they’re a grifter.
