How to deal with a former coworker passing off (lots of) work as their own?

This person left the agency and promptly filled their book with work that they had literally nothing to do with, mine and others'. Now they're out there on linkedin hustling for jobs with what looks like a way better book than the people they're stealing from. Is there anything to be done? Is this just the way of the world?
