Additional Posts in Consulting Exit Opportunities
I have a fair amount of retail experience and have created a bowl to help fellow consultants who are interviewing in retail and CPG. My experience is across a wide range of topics (primarily non technical) and would love to help folks get their dream job. Would be awesome if others can join and contribute their knowledge.

Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.
Thanks in advance! Help me escape Deloitte pleaseeee. I want this job sooo much!

Transferring directly into a CxO role is rare. Just because you have experience advising a business doesn’t mean you’d do a good job at the helm of one.
What is common is an exit around the principal level to a VP role, and then staying until promotion to CxO. Another common exit is to a high-level role in an early stage startup and becoming a de facto CxO as the company grows.
Add “J Michael Pearson” to that list^
Throw in “Bill Gates” to that list too ^
