Hi Fishes,
I have 7.3 YOE and my Tech Stark is SAP UI5/ Fiori Developer.
I currently have 2 offers in hand, one from Sopra Steria, Technical Lead 2B - CTC 18.6 LPA which is completely fixed and the other offer is from Capgemini, Manager C2- CTC 18 LPA(Variable 10%) and joining bonus 50k.
Please help me by suggesting which one I can go forward with.

I’ve been with PwC almost for a year now in the valuations group and I don’t see myself doing this long term. 90% I’m helping Audit Teams understand valuations and 10% I’m doing PPAs. I always wanted to go into more a consulting role (ops/strategy role). I also like modeling, but the current modeling I’m doing is more accounting focused rather than finding business value from synergy creation. Ideally I’d like to stick with PwC but I’d switch too. Thoughts where I should apply too?

Not in TAS but most positions at firms it will eventually hold you back if you don’t have it. And yeah, everyone studies and works full time lmao
The test itself isn’t very hard. If you are disciplined it won’t be hard even with a job
I’m have a STEM degree, didn’t have an accounting degree. Still able to get my CPA. Not really difficult, just annoying and lots of content.

Valuable for the knowledge but not for the piece of paper in TAS. You can get away with it. I've seen some with CFAs rather than CPAs or foreign qualifications. If you don't have those you may as well do it if you have the option to.
I passed the CPA in about a year while working full-time and with a family. I sacrificed a lot of time before and after work and during vacations and holidays. But it's very doable. I recommend using the lazy man method.
what is TAS?
I guess not so much at RSM lol. there are non cpas at the mgr, director and even partner level (partners are called principals if they aren’t cpas). Some of these people haven’t even passed the exam
If you have a masters in accounting or a gap year where you were earning the 150 credits then you will need it. Looks questionable on a resume to have a masters and no cpa / not be working for it
