I hear impacted by a re-org or change in leadership often. I wouldn’t lie, but it’s not a big deal if only happened once.
Hm interesting question. Do you feel like you really need to point that out? If you think its for a reason that wont inflict damage on their perception of your then go for it.
Otherwise, I'd play it off very cool, without lying.
If they ask tell them you were laid off, otherwise no need to dive into why you left.
Why bother telling them? Companies can not disclose why you left or that you were let go. Just the dates you were employed and whether or not you are eligible for rehire.
Management was restructuring. The interviewer shouldn’t pry. It’s a huge red flag if they do.
