I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. Anyone else just sitting around waiting for the ax to drop? I'm a soon to be 2nd year corporate associate who has seen work completely dry up. My utilization held pretty steady around 50% immediately after shutdown, but August was below 15 billables with no appreciable work in the pipeline. If you are fresher, go for a WF Office setup. You will learn things beyond your work. In the initial phase of of your career, one needs to focus more on learning than on comfort. The interactions at office, meeting with collegues, conversations at the cafeteria, sense of responsibilty, the need to walk up on time to reach office etc will shape you for better.

Once you have a work experience of few year then any setup is fine. Go for WFH.
