I recently went on antidepressants for my anxiety and it has helped tremendously. I felt like I was in a constant state of panic and anger before. Meds are available if you need them!

Hello, I have accepted an offer at a competitor company and sent in my resignation letter. My start date is 5 weeks from now so I put in my end date 4 weeks from date letter was signed. The manager said I had to leave the job in 2 days and the company can only play 2 weeks of work. Is it normal how they do that?

Seeking feedback on GAP insurance. I had a family member who purchased a car in June or July. They were in an accident last week and it sounds like the car will be declared a total loss. Never dealt with this before, so wanted to ask if anyone has ever had an instance where the insurance didn't cover the outstanding balance of the loan and the insured then owed money? Car was $35k, $7k down, finance $28k. Gap insurance is through lender, not auto insurer.

Would getting a masters in health administration be worth it in terms of helping me get into healthcare law? I have transactional experience but no health law experience.

Is it realistic to go solo in the healthcare law space? Or do boutique firms have a hold on the market?

Any recommended resources for a mid-level lit associate looking to develop some skills in health care transactional work? I'm primarily a med-mal attorney and several clients have small opportunities on the MA side that I'd like to be able to assist with. The firm does not currently have a specific transactional healthcare practice group so I'd need to go out of the firm for mentorship in this area. For now, I'm just looking for good basic foundational resources.

Does anyone here in a health system have insurance that covers fertility assistance or get paid parental leave? Really like my position at my hospital but as we start to plan a family - I'm nervous about the cost. Just looking around regionally - it looks like most health systems don't cover this.

Where have people seen healthcare big law folks leave to? Mostly pharma? Providers/systems? Universities? Trying to get a sense of exit opps.

I finished a Health Law LL.M. last May and haven't done anything with it thus far. I'm in insurance defense primarily (Liability, UM, UIM) and just got the LL.M. because I still had GI Bill to use or lose.

Any suggestions on how I can create/build a book of business as outside counsel using the degree? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone feel burned out from healthcare from this past year? I straddle tech trans and do procurement/manage the research department of a health system. Is it just me or do health systems compensate less? If I'm going to have to work long hours - I might as well get paid more going the private sector/tech company route.
