Humour me for a moment...

I work in Wealth & Asset Management. I see a tonne of demand for data & analytics, but most of the work is to make data accessible and to solve for fragmented data structures.

What I don't see is the innovative use cases for the data. I hear lots of people saying data & analytics can help WM's provide better advice or more tailored advice but I don't necessarily buy that. I get the use cases for retailers etc but not so much in this sector.

Enlighten me please?

I am planning to leave my firm after busy season and I am wondering if I should let them know this is my last busy season or stay quite and just give my 2 weeks after busy season? I really like the people I work with and I think I could boomerang (read to many posts of people who boomerang and I fit the "type"). Should I tell them know or just stay silent and give my 2 weeks notice?

One of my big hang-ups with biden tax plan is raising corporate tax across the board. Why raise taxes on businesses when we've just found out how fragile it is to be able to run a small business?Why not at least propose some kind of progressive corporate tax structure if you want to raise taxes on corps?

To all my data engineering friends out there, do you all feel like trash sometimes? Like people dont understand shit about what you do, and clients just want to see some bs ml model/pretty but useless dashboards?

Coming from ACN, senior analyst, 3yrs total experience so far & wanting to get into the data analytics/BI work. Currently have had experience working with SQL developer, OBIEE/OBIA, Teradata in ERP and Healthcare projects. I also have my AWS Cloud Practitioner Cert, hoping to eventually get the Data Analytics Cert later. What are my chances of finding a role with another company that'll let me work in BI/data analytics and build up my skill at the same time? Been thinking of leaving ACN.
