I really ruined things with the most beautiful girl that’s ever liked me before. I still very much like her but she doesn’t anymore. She said I was asking too much of her during the talking stage (after 1 month, I wanted to talk to her more besides only our weekends - she never texted/called).
Do I try again and give her more space or do I move on? I think she might open up more but just takes time which I didn’t give her

I would move on. When you’re genuinely interested in someone you communicate during the week. I don’t think you’re “asking too much” at all.

likeuplifting

If she was into you, talking more wouldn’t be asking too much of her, it would just happen. She’s likely not having a problem with talking to someone else, so go out and find someone that’s into you the same way.

likesmart

Great point D1. OP, you can’t negotiate true desire from a girl. You can however work to become more likable (first and foremost to yourself), and don’t waste time picking girls who aren’t truly into you as much as you are into them.

Bro you literally said she doesn't like you anymore. Don't be a simp/incel/niceguy and please move on. She ain't the only beautiful girl in town.

I’m getting a clingy / first love vibe from OP.

She doesn’t sound interested. Please move on. Sorry, friend.

She’s told you she’s not interested. Leave her alone.

like

Yea for real I don't know what OP was expecting to hear. No amount of serenading or advances is going to change the fact that she isn't into you. We don't get to choose who we're attracted to.

Don’t settle go for someone even more beautifuller

likesmartfunny

If you want to maximize your chances of actually attracting her you have to detach. Like the other comments said, move on and focus on something else. You came across as too clingy and it’s impossible to convince someone your not with just words. You have to genuinely move on. Don’t ever text or snap her once. And maybe she’ll come back.

Source: I did this exact same thing to my first relationship and ruined it. Women don’t want you to perceive yourself as lower/beneath them. It’s unattractive

like

You absolutely will. And you’ll be prepared to handle the next one better

When you say “the most beautiful girl” are you referring to her appearance? Sounds like it could be more lust on your end. Beauty fades, but personality and how someone treats you (with the respect you deserve!!) is what really remains. Cheer up & move on to someone who is a better match!

like

The hardest part was she’s beautiful inside and out. She’s just scared of commitment, which in hindsight I should’ve dealt with more patience. Now I think the ship may have sailed

I second the comments here. Leave her in the dust and get massive at the gym. Keep getting out there and secure a better partner 🙏

I'll go as far to say she never liked you. Gotta call it man, better to keep a good rapport in my opinion

like

She backed off because you acted too needy early on. Women (and men) enjoy the excitement of a new relationship and not being sure of your feelings for them. Read The 3% Man and learn from this mistake. Move on. Chin up!

Hey I read both these books and it really showed how much I messed things up by trying too hard. Wish I knew the content before as I’ve learned a lot. Will be kicking myself for a while but now I know

If a woman likes you, she's not going to tell you you're talking to her too much. You were just a filler for this woman.

like

@Analyst “filler” is when someone just wants attention and will keep you around until they find someone they actually want or until they get bored use someone else.

Move on bro

Thanks for the advice everyone. What confuses me is she was definitely into me at first (she initiated texts every day) but when i wanted something more serious, she backed off

Just because she was interested at one point doesn’t mean she’ll stay interested forever. Move on. I’ve been straight up repulsed by people I was initially attracted to. Not saying she’s repulsed by you but just saying feelings can change quickly.

Has anyone quit their job because of a relationship? I started my job 3 months ago and now my employer wants me to move to NY. I would honestly quit my job and wouldn't mind the job search again.

Was laid off in Sept. Unfortunately we will be seeing many more coming. It's what happens in a recession. Unfortunately I now also have my age against me. Not in a mentally good place at the moment.

So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise. On the topic of intimacy with partners… I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and the past year his libido has dropped to zero. Mostly due to work stress (he says). Whenever I try to initiate, he always shuts me down and says he’s not in the mood. I even touch him and he gets hard but stops me as soon as I try to unzip him. We went from once a week to maybe once a quarter.

I’ve talked to him about it and he says I should take care of myself. So frustrated. 😭😭
